From the idea of understanding that it is a school of PhD studies and through the design of the project from the program emerges the idea. A school for doctoral studies is understood as a building in which teaching does not only consist in expanding knowledge, but also in promoting its transfer to society.

With this in mind, the programme is grouped into different units of knowledge. In these, the spaces for classes, workshops and seminars are developed, being able to function almost as independent elements. Between the disposition of the units appears the rest of the program, in pieces of different category and size according to their function.

The organization of the set of all the pieces is realized by means of a system of concentric rings of circulation, from which one accedes to the different classes. The accesses to the building are made in opposite parts connecting to each other by means of a space in which the two most public and singular pieces appear: the degree room and the library.

Between all these spaces, perforations appear that allow the extension of the space to the outside, always within the great limit or blind wrapping that has just configured the whole "cell" of the building.
